5 Places I would like to go in my life:
1. Israel, I think being a spiritual person that this locale is rather self explanatory.
2. The Amazon (be it in Peru or Brazil, I’m not picky), the plants and animals in this area are unique and valuable to the ecology of the Earth. I would like to see a sloth and be in a rain forest. I wouldn’t mind seeing a giant python either as long as it doesn’t sneak up on me.
3. Kenya, Africa holds a tremendous appeal for me. A friend of mine from college (who weirdly enough I ran into at The Improv 2 weeks ago) did a semester in Kenya and came back with wondrous tails of giving, positive people who look at life very differently then what I am used to.
4. Germany, Poland, Austria, and the Ukraine- I would like to see the concentration camps where people had the means and opportunity to commit heinous crimes against fellow human beings. I want to see what my Grandparents left behind in Germany and the Ukraine to come to another country and start again.
5. Thailand-A dear friend is from Thailand and owns a restaurant near our place in Los Angeles. She speaks of her birth country with such love and reverence it has impressed upon my mind the beauty and wonder of Thailand. The people, the food, the foliage, and the culture would be a great experience.
5 Things I would like to be able to do at least once:
1. Scuba dive
2. Do a 100 mile charity ride
3. Learn another language fluently
4. Learn to operate a sailboat
5. Campaign for a winning presidential candidate
